Our Thermowood Timber
ThermoWood is easy to work with and has an attractive golden brown colour which if left without any surface coating will start to grey and weather in quite a short period of time.
Thermowood Benefits:
- Reduced swelling in humid environments
- Strong resistance to fungal attack and high durability rating of class 3
- Should last upwards of 30 years when used as cladding
- Resistant to most common European wood boring insects
- The ThermoWood process results in an increase in the splitting strength properties of compared to the original timber.
